How the numbers here are made

Every figure on this site carries a source link, a checked date and an expiry date. Tax figures come only from official UAE sources.

Checked

This site publishes 39 sourced figures: 27 from official UAE sources and 12 published by businesses in the accounting market. The two are never mixed. Rules, rates, thresholds and deadlines are official only.

The two kinds of figure

Official (§). Rates, thresholds, deadlines and legal rules come from the Federal Tax Authority (tax.gov.ae), the Ministry of Finance (mof.gov.ae) or the UAE Government portal (u.ae), including the published texts of the Corporate Tax Law, the VAT law and the decisions under them.

Industry (¤). Prices come from pages where accounting firms and software vendors publish what they charge. They are marked as advertised figures, never as a quote to you, and we name the kind of source rather than recommending any provider.

How currency is maintained

Each figure has a checked date and an expiry date. A build-time report lists anything expired or close to it, and expired figures are re-verified at the source before the site is deployed again. Tax figures are checked at least every six months; prices at least annually.

What we left out, and why

Two things a competing page would happily print are missing here:

  • Penalty amounts. Set by Cabinet decisions that are amended over time. We could not verify the text in force on 12 September 2026 from an official source, so no amounts appear.
  • Corporate tax registration deadlines. Set by FTA decision, and we could not verify the current timetable officially. The filing and payment deadline, which is in the law itself, is published here.

The same applies to free zone qualifying activities and the de minimis rules: they are set out in decisions we could not verify, so that guide says so instead of guessing.

What this site is not

It is not a government service and has no connection to the Federal Tax Authority or the Ministry of Finance. Nothing here is tax, legal or accounting advice. Your position depends on facts we do not have, and a registered tax agent is the right person to confirm it.

How it is paid for

When you ask for quotes, the request may be passed to accounting firms, and they may pay for that introduction. That arrangement never changes a rate, a threshold or a price range on this site, and no firm is named or recommended anywhere.

Corrections

If a figure here is out of date or wrong, tell us and it will be re-checked at source. Corrections are published with a new checked date rather than edited quietly.
